Projected Completion Date: March 2010 Landfill Operations Road & Mass Grading (Cells 1 & 2), Guam, Project Construction Manager and Consultants to Construction Contractor – Phase I We are the project management and technical consultants to the construction contractor for the construction of 38 stations of operations road for a landfill being constructed in southern Guam. Primary project technical specs are FP-03. The project includes the construction of two landfill cells 40’ deep with drainage improvements, and the perimeter road (21+stations). The project was made particularly challenging because the design incorporated the use of expansive soils as embankment. The work included Project Management, Value Engineering Analysis, schedule and time analysis, mathematical models for cost and time claims and coordination with the government-appointed CM and the client. The project is on-going – change orders for additional quantities and materials have been issued, and a time extension for an excessive rain days claim is under review.
